Seminar-Workshop: "Wellness and Healing"

We are pleased to invite you to attend a seminar-workshop for counselors, community helping professionals and paraprofessionals entitled “Wellness and Healing”. This seminar will be held on July 17, 18 and 19, 2013 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Asian Social Institute.

The course is designed to teach wellness counseling, how to heal, enhance life energy and bring about healing experiences. We hope to learn about the nature of wellness and healing and the different models, principles, strategies and interventions which are most helpful to counselors and community helpers in helping the most vulnerable populations in our communities. We are inviting participants from NGOs, POs, religious and private institutions who are involved in providing guidance, healing and care to abandoned women and children, abused youth, the elderly, street children, broken families, problem children and terminally-ill patients. We are also inviting individuals who are into care-giving and therapeutic practice and those who maybe needing healing themselves.

Our resource persons are noted experts with long years of healing and practice in their respective fields both nationally and internationally.

The registration fee is Four Thousand Pesos (P 4,000.00) which is inclusive of lunch, snacks, hand-outs and certificate of participation.
