Strengthening of family life, women empowerment and accompaniment of Bigkis-Lakas Pilipinas, a national alliance of fisher folk federations that lobbied for the passing of RA 8550 or the Fisheries Code of the Philippines and at present are partners of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in implementing the Fisheries Code of the Philippines and are leading advocates for the right of the fisherfolk.
