A 3-day reflective and evaluative seminar-workshop, from January 29 – 31, 2013, is being offered by the ASI Academe-Research Department. It aims to tackle issues on people's right to good governance, their participation in different public processes and the presence or lack of opportunities for people and community empowerment within the purview of the Local Government Code of 1991 vis-à-vis the people's faith-life - the latter touches on the supremacy (ka-bathalaan) of the people, whose participation in politics and governance, understandably, is a personal one and thus includes a myriad of interests, principles and values which define what for them is good governance, real social transformation and genuine public service.

This seminar-workshop is open to all students of the social sciences, aspiring public servants and political leaders, and civil society groups whose advocacies run along the lines of social development and people empowerment.

For inquiries and reservation, please call us at: (02) 523 8265 to 67 local 222 or 224. Our offices are open from Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm.
