Be the gift that you are, touch people’s lives and make a difference.

Take part in our journey to a life-promoting mission. Let the Francis Senden Memorial Foundation be your channel for a meaningful investment in ventures geared toward integral development.

Our Goal

The Francis Senden Memorial Foundation Incorporated was established in 1991 to provide financial resources that will be utilized for the fulfillment of the socio-pastoral and economic ideals of the late Rev. Fr. Francis Senden, CICM, a visionary who dreamt of conquering the divisions or disconnects in society especially between the rich and the poor, the voiced and the voiceless.

Our Thrusts

We wish to share our resources and energy in responding to the needs of the Asian Social Institute through the following thrusts:

Professorial Chair

The Foundation sponsors professorial lectures or researches by outstanding resource persons. It seeks the support of individuals and groups who can share their resources and the vision to promote the ideals of Francis Senden towards social transformation founded on the values of justice, peace and integrity of creation.

Social Think-Tanks

Under the auspices of the Foundation, transformative ideas are disseminated through the annual Francis Senden Memorial Lecture which gathers in a forum-workshop a microcosm of civil society being enlightened by new insights or innovative ideas shared by renowned experts.

Participatory Action-Oriented Research

A crucial process that enriches the fund of knowledge bearing policy and program implications to education, social action and organization for transformation in communities and churches is the conduct of social (participative) research being supported by the Foundation.

Publications and Audio-Visuals

Packaging, dissemination and marketing of ideas through publications and audio-visual products are major areas for exploring development possibilities. These products serve as instructional materials helpful in doing critical reflection on social issues and concerns.

Accompaniment of Grassroots Movements and Communities

The thrust toward capability-building for self and community empowerment through training and formation of community leaders builds on the notion of accompaniment wherein the inherent gifts of individuals in various institutional spheres (church, government, education, NGOs, and people’s organizations) are harnessed and unleashed to sustain the development of new leaders “from the ground”.

We knock at the door of your hearts for your generosity will set us on the road to even greater possibilities.

May the spirit of loving kindness bestow upon you abundant blessings and fill you - the gift that you are - with hope and affection.
